This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil,

Worship at the heart of the Christian Life
Worship is the heartbeat of the Christian life, the sacred act through which God’s people glorify Him and are edified by His grace. Rooted in the Reformed tradition, our worship is governed by the regulative principle, which teaches that we worship God only as He has commanded in Scripture. We all worship as a family and invite families to include their children of all ages.
Worship is not merely an event but the center point of Christian existence, shaping how we follow Christ, pursue Him together, and serve our neighbors. It is in worship that we encounter the living God, are renewed by His Spirit, and are equipped to live for His glory. As the Westminster Shorter Catechism declares, our chief end is “to glorify God, and to enjoy Him forever,” and this begins in the corporate worship of the church. At Christ the King, every aspect of our service—from the call to worship to the benediction—is designed to direct our hearts to the Lord, fostering a reverence that spills over into daily life.
We warmly invite all Christians to join us in this God-centered worship, regardless of where you are in your faith. Our services are a place where the weary find rest, the seeker finds truth, and the believer finds strength. Come experience the beauty of Reformed worship at Christ the King Church, where we strive to glorify God in all we do, trusting that He is working all things for His glory and our good. Visit us this Sunday and see how worship transforms us to live as those known by our love, service, and devotion to Christ.
What does a Service look like?

The Word
The Holy Scriptures, the inspired and authoritative Word of God, are central to worship. Through extensive Scripture readings and expository preaching, the Bible guides faith and practice, proclaiming God’s grace and calling believers to obedience (sola scriptura). The Word shapes every aspect of the service, grounding worship in divine truth.

The Sacraments
The Reformed tradition upholds two sacraments—Baptism and the Lord’s Supper—as sacred signs of God’s grace, instituted by Christ. Baptism welcomes believers and their children into the covenant community, while the Lord’s Supper nourishes faith through Christ’s spiritual presence. Both are tied to Scripture and received with faith in the gathered church.

The Music
Music in Reformed worship glorifies God and edifies the congregation through biblically grounded singing. Emphasizing congregational participation, services feature psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, either from the Trinity Psalter, approved hymnals, modern faithful worship songs. Simplicity and reverence ensure music directs hearts to God, avoiding theatricality.
Christ the King Church (Future)
We look forward to worshipping together at our new church building as soon as all the work is done on it.
Turn on Dunstan street from Front street to get to the parking lot which isn’t really well shown on google maps. It’s a part of Terrace Park.
